Bach Pilgrimage 2013

During May and June of 2013, I did something rather crazy – a marathon ‘Bach Pilgrimage’ across mainland Britain. I played some 50 concerts up and down the land - from Cornwall to Glasgow, from Norfolk to Yorkshire, mostly in modest churches but not excluding the grandest of cathedrals. It was exhausting and invigorating; testing and revealing; though above all and in the end it was the most fundamental affirmation of the worth of being a musician. more

Tom’s recording of the Bach Sonatas and Partitias is scheduled to be released in the Autumn of 2017. Recorded over two years in the world famous Abbey Rd studios the results are now at the editing stage. European Bach Pilgrimage

Plans for an ambitious European Bach Pilgrimage - one to match the event of 2013 - are now fully underway. It will take place in May and June of 2019 and will be offered to those wishing to present and host concerts of the Bach Sonatas and Partitas. Please be in touch as soon as you can if you would like to host a concert. Tom is hoping to mount the whole event in conjunction with a major child related charity. More soon.
